Former Nerazzurri defender Andrea Ranocchia feels that every single Inter Milan player was “exceptional” against Lazio yesterday.
The former defender beamed about the Nerazzurri’s performance speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset after the match, via FCInterNews.
Inter made a big statement with their victory over Lazio yesterday.
It was a 3-0 scoreline that if anything flattered the Biancoclesti.
Inter’s performance was the result of great organization by the team as a whole, and certainly to the great credit of Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi.
But beyond that, it would be hard not to point out the fact that every player on the pitch was also right in place.
The crisp passing and fluid movement would not have worked nearly as well as it did if any of the players on the pitch were not at their best.
But the whole team looked confident, and all the Inter players showed their best qualities.

“Inter played a great match,” Ranocchia said after yesterday’s win.
“It would be hard to pick one player who stood out positively or negatively.”
“They were all exceptional,” argued the former defender.
And Ranocchia also commented on the penalty that Inter received at the start of the second half.
That spot kick came when Lazio forward Pedro clipped the heel of Inter captain Lautaro Martinez.
The referee Matteo Marchetti did not initially spot the infringement. But Martinez was absolutely vehement that it should have been a penalty.
And the VAR advised Marchetti to go and have a look at his monitor.
It did not take the official long to conclude that there was a clear penalty.
“Now as a defender you have to be very careful,” Ranocchia noted.
“With VAR, it’s very hard to miss these incidents.”
“The contact by Pedro on Martinez’s calf was clear,” the former Inter defender added.
