Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi will sign a two-and-a-half year deal with Leicester City until the end of June 2026.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Sensi still remains an Inter player. But it looks like it is now really only a matter of time before the 28-year-old leaves the Nerazzurri after four and a half years.

Leicester have been chasing Sensi for much of the January transfer window.

It is the East Midlands side’s coach Enzo Maresca who has particularly pushed for the signing of the former Sassuolo midfielder.

Leicester had to offload a player in order to make room in their squad for Sensi.

In something of an ironic coincidence, it was former Inter youth team midfielder Cesare Casadei who left Leicester. The 21-year-old’s loan spell from Chelsea was cut short.

And since then, it has looked to be only a matter of time before Sensi’s transfer to Leicester would be wrapped up.

Stefano Sensi To Sign Two-&-A-Half-Year Deal With Leicester City Until 2026

Sensi should complete his move to Leicester within the next few days.

The 28-year-old will be part of the Nerazzurri’s squad for this evening’s trip to Tuscany to face Fiorentina in Serie A.

But then Sensi will travel to English in order to undergo his medicals and sign his contract with Leicester.

Everything has been wrapped up as far as the agreement between Inter and Leicester.

The Championship club will reportedly pay the Nerazzurri a fee of around €3 million, including all add-ons.

And Leicester have also fully convinced Sensi.

The Foxes’ coach Maresca personally convinced the Italy midfielder on the project at the King Power Stadium.

Sensi and his representatives have fully agreed personal terms with Leicester.

The 28-year-old former Sassuolo man will sign with the Foxes until the end of June 2026.
