Tomorrow will be the day for midfielder Stefano Sensi to complete his move from Inter Milan to Leicester City.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Foxes had expected to wrap up the deal on Friday, but that it will finally go through tomorrow.
Inter and Leicester have been in negotiations regarding a transfer of Sensi for much of January.
But to date, the two clubs have yet to get the deal over the line.
Sensi has remained a Nerazzurri player, and has not yet travelled to England to complete a move.
Inter were in Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana last week. Meanwhile, the former Sassuolo midfielder was in the Nerazzurri’s squad against Fiorentina yesterday.
Stefano Sensi To Complete Move From Inter To Leicester Tomorrow
According to FCIN, there is a particular reason why Sensi has not completed his move yet.
The outlet report that Leicester had in fact been aiming to seal a deal for the Italian as early as last week. They had targeted Friday.
But Leicester are still needing to offload a player in order to make room in their squad.
The East Midlands club have already returned former Inter youth team player Cesare Casadei to Chelsea from loan.
But ex-Sampdoria and Torino midfielder Dennis Praet will also likely depart.
Leicester had been aiming to offload Praet last week to make room for Sensi.
However, the 29-year-old stayed at the King Power. Therefore, the move of Sensi did not happen as early as Leicester had wanted.
However, Leicester should finally offload Praet soon. Antwerp are keen to sign him.
On the other hand, Australian international defender Harry Soutar could also depart.
In any event, FCIN report, tomorrow will definitely be the day.
Sensi will travel to Leicester to undergo his medicals and then sign his contract with the 2015-16 English champions.
