Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri should be able to rely on the services of Adrien Rabiot in the big Scudetto showdown against Inter Milan.

The 28-year-old missed his club’s recent two encounters against Lecce and Empoli with a calf problem.

But according to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Frenchman will resume training on Thursday in what should be a significant boost for his club.

Allegri has already regained Federico Chiesa who rejoined his teammates in training on Wednesday.

The Bianconeri manager will certainly be delighted with Rabiot’s return. The France international is one of the main stalwarts at the club and arguably the first name in Allegri’s starting lineup.

The 2022 World Cup finalist should join Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie in the middle of the park. Andrea Cambiaso should take the right flank while Filip Kostic operates on the opposite lane.

In defense, Juventus will start with the usual suspects, as Federico Gatti joins Gleison Bremer and club captain Danilo.

Juventus Midfielder Adrien Rabiot Aiming For A Starting Place Vs Inter Milan

In attack, Allegri will have to do without the suspended Arek Milik and the injured Moise Kean.

The returning Chiesa will be pushing for a starting berth alongside Dusan Vlahovic. Nevertheless, Kenan Yildiz could get the nod instead following his recent impressive run.

Inter currently lead the Serie A standings by a single point, while they also have an extra match in hand.

Simone Inzaghi’s men will be gunning a victory at the Giuseppe Meazza that would put them on the right track to lift the Scudetto at the end of the season.

The clash kicks off on Sunday at 20:45 CET.
