Polish media are arguing that a switch to Inter Milan is the “right choice” for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski next summer.

Polish broadcaster Eleven Sports Polonia, via FCInter1908, confirm predictions that the 29-year-old will make the switch to the Nerazzurri, and endorse it as a positive move for the player.

ZIelinski remains a Napoli player. But only for a few more months now.

Reports suggest that Inter are just about ready to seal a summer free transfer for the Pole.

Zielinski’s contract with the Partenopei runs out at the end of the current season.

And Eleven Sports Polonia note that things have taken a sour turn in the relationship between the former Empoli and Udinese midfielder and his current club.

Zielinski may be in his eighth season at Napoli. And he may have rejected a massive money move to the Saudi Pro League just last summer.

But the Polish broadcaster highlights the fact that the contract extension talks between Zielinski and Napoli have stalled out completely, and quite unexpectedly.

Eleven suggest that the initial offers from the reigning Italian champions may have put the midfield off.

In any event, one way or another Zielinski is ready to leave Napoli. And he has made his decision – the Polish international will join Inter.

Polish Media Endorse Inter As Next Destination For Piotr Zielinski

In the view of Eleven Sports Polonia, Zielinski is making a sensible decision by choosing Inter.

On the one hand, the Nerazzurri already have a very strong midfield.

Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Hakan Calhanoglu have been the starting trio all throughout this season. And none of the three would be easy to dislodge.

Then there are young players like Kristjan Asllani and Davide Frattesi who have continued to grow into the team.

But ZIelinski is more than capable of having his say.

The Pole was by far one of Serie A’s outstanding midfielders when Napoli won the title last season.

The midfield depth at Inter will certainly look formidable with Zielinski in the fold.

And Eleven argue that it’s a move that will see the 29-year-old take another big step forward in his career.
