Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has already undergone his medicals on a move to Inter Milan on a free transfer next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it. The Gazzetta report that Zielinski is right on the verge of signing a contract with the Nerazzurri worth €4.5 million net per season plus add-ons.

It is certainly no secret that Inter are moving towards signing Zielinski next summer.

The Pole’s contract with Napoli runs out at the end of June of this year. And he will not be extending it.

Inter have been in talks with Zielinski and his representatives for some time.

The only question has been when exactly the 29-year-old will put pen to paper.

Since the start of last month, Zielinski has been free to negotiate with other clubs.

And Inter have taken advantage of that fact. The Nerazzurri have accelerated in talks with Zielinski, and reached a full agreement with the player and his representatives.

Inter have already informed Napoli of their agreement with Zielinski, and their intention to sign the Polish international when his contract with the reigning Italian champions expires.

Piotr Zielinski Has Already Undergone Inter Medicals

And according to the Gazzetta, Inter have taken one more vital step towards sealing the signing of Zielinski for next summer.

The outlet reports that the midfielder has already undergone his medicals ahead of the move.

Zielinski completed the medicals this morning.

There was little fanfare as the Nerazzurri aim to get everything in order to make Zielinski’s arrival official for the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Porto striker Mehdi Taremi will reportedly undergo his medicals on an Inter move tomorrow.

The Gazzetta report that Zielinski will sign a three-year contract with Inter. This will contain the option of an additional season.

That is one season longer than the duration of Taremi’s prospective contract.

The Pole will earn €4.5 million net per season plus add-ons.
