The entourage of Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is keeping things quiet regarding the Pole’s upcoming move to Inter Milan.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report that this is to avoid causing too much of a stir with the player’s current club Napoli.
At this point, it would be impossible to ignore the links between Zielinski and Inter.
The Polish international underwent his medicals on a move to the Nerazzurri yesterday.
That is one of the final steps for Zielinski. He has long made up his mind to reject the contract extension offers of Napoli and instead join Inter on a free transfer when his deal expires.
But from the player and his entourage, there has not been any public statement.
Zielinski and his representatives may have been working on sorting out his future behind the scenes. But they aren’t making a big show of it publicly.

Zielinski still has a few months left to go on his contract with Napoli.
The 29-year-old has spent the past seven and a half years in Naples.
Even if the last few months have been difficult, and at times bitter, Zielinski still naturally feels a strong sense of attachment to the Partenopei.
And there remains a certain relationship of respect between Zielinski and the Napoli fans.
So for the Pole, it could come across as somewhat disrespectful to be completely open about his plans to join Inter.
The writing may be on the wall. It is not as though Partenopei supporters don’t know that these next few months will be the last time they see Zielinski in the shirt he’s worn for the better part of a decade.
But there’s still work to do on the pitch.
So the former Empoli and Udinese midfielder is keen to show where his commitment and focus still is. Even if the future is now clear.
