Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez has reportedly rejected an approach from PSG as he only has eyes for the Nerazzurri.

The 26-year-old has been plying his trade at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium since 2018.

He has now established himself as the club’s talismanic leader. He inherited the captain’s armband in the summer following the departure of Samir Handanovic and other senior players.

The Argentine currently leads the Serie A scoring charts with 19 goals, as he enjoys the most prolific campaign of his career thus far.

The Serie A giants are hellbent on extending their captain’s contract. The two parties are expected to reach a final agreement at some point during the current campaign.

However, Lautaro’s suitors are still hoping to lure him away from Appiano Gentile.

According to Fox Sports Argentina via FcInterNews, Paris Saint-Germain have contacted the striker’s agent Alejandro Camano.

The latter also represents PSG right-back and former Inter star Achraf Hakimi.

The Ligue 1 champions are reportedly hoping to strike a deal for Martinez, perhaps as a replacement for Kylian Mbappé who will reportedly leave the club at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, the source believes that Lautaro has no intention to leave the Serie A leaders.

As the report notes, the 2022 World Cup winner loves life in Milano and is currently negotiating a contract renewal with the club.

This is yet another confirmation of the solid bond that Martinez shares with the Nerazzurri.

The Inter supporters are hoping to keep the striker at Appiano Gentile for as long as possible and see him cement his status as a bona fide club symbol.
