Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is set to ring the changes this weekend in the away Serie A fixture against Lecce.

Fresh from pipping Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, the Nerazzurri will resume their domestic campaign with a trip south.

They will take on Lecce at the Via del Mare on Sunday evening.

Nevertheless, Tuttosport (via FcInterNews) expects a vastly different lineup from the one we saw on Tuesday.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, Inzaghi could make up to six changes in his starting XI.

At the back, Stefan de Vrij and Benjamin Pavard will maintain their places. However, Carlos Augusto should replace Alessandro Bastoni on the left side of the three-man defense.

In the middle of the park, Kristjan Asllani could start instead of Hakan Calhanoglu. Moreover, Davide Frattesi should give Nicolo Barella a breather.

On the right flank, Denzel Dumfries will regain his starting berth following an impressive showing against Salernitana last weekend. The Dutchman will take over from Matteo Darmian.

On the opposite side, Tajon Buchanan is pushing for a starting berth instead of Federico Dimarco. This would be the Canadian’s full debut after joining Inter last month. He has only made a single appearance thus far, coming in for a late cameo last weekend.

Finally, Marko Arnautovic will replace the injured Marcus Thuram in a compulsory change. The latter picked up a knock during the first half against Atletico Madrid.

The Austrian managed to score the solitary goal of the European encounter and will be looking to deliver the goods once more this weekend.

The 34-year-old should start alongside club captain Lautaro Martinez.
