Wingback Federico Dimarco is anticipating a tough match for Inter Milan in this evening’s Serie A clash with Lecce.

The Italian international spoke to InterTV ahead of this evening’s match at the Via del Mare, via FCInterNews.

Inter are aiming to make it ten wins from ten in 2024 by taking three points home from Puglia.

And just on their form in recent weeks alone, the Nerazzurri would seem to be the heavy favourites on paper.

But this evening’s match is an away trip for Inter.

And it comes against a team who have shown the quality to give themselves a real foothold in the Serie A midtable this season. But at the same time, are not out of the woods yet as far as relegation is concerned.

Therefore, Lecce will have a lot of motivation.

And the Giallorossi have already shown that they are capable of making life difficult for the biggest teams in Serie A.

That is what Roberto D’Aversa’s team will try to do this evening against the team who have been the outstanding side in the Italian top flight so far this campaign.

Federico Dimarco Anticipates Tough Match For Inter Vs Lecce

Inter wingback Dimarco noted that “They’re playing at home.”

“So we’ll just have to focus on playing our game,” he added.

“We just have to focus on ourselves,” the 26-year-old added.

“Just focus on playing our game and on bringing home the win.”
