WeBuild proclaim they’re already at work as they look to present Inter Milan and AC Milan with a feasibility study regarding the San Siro project.

The municipality of Milano have entrusted the famous building company with the stadium’s renovation project.

This is a last-ditch attempt from Milano mayor Giuseppe Sala who’s still desperate to keep the two clubs within the city walls.

Initially, the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri worked side-by-side on a project aimed at building a new modern stadium instead of the current San Siro.

However, local authorities prevent them from demolishing the current venue, citing its historical and cultural significance.

Therefore, the two clubs split paths. Milan are looking to build their own ground in San Donato, and Inter doing likewise in Rozzano.

Nevertheless, the two clubs agreed to sit at the table with Sala and WeBuild last week. The parties discussed a potential San Siro renovation project.

During the meeting, WeBuild pledged to present a feasibility study by June. Afterwards, the two Serie A giants will render their final decision. They will either decide to embark on the project, or put an end to it.

WeBuild Already At Work On San Siro Project – Look To Present Inter Milan & AC Milan With Feasibility Study

But it appears that WeBuild are hellbent on convincing Milan and Inter. The company announced today that they have already started working on the feasibility study.

“We immediately started working on the feasibility analysis,” announced WeBuild through an official note via FcInter1908.

“We will present the results once we finish the work. This will be a demonstration of service to the Municipality and the clubs of Milano.”

But in the meantime, many sources expect the two clubs to continue working on their separate projects while awaiting the feasibility study.
