Midfielders Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani and defender Yann Bisseck are all set to start for Inter Milan against Napoli.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter are approaching tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against Napoli with a somewhat odd atmosphere around the team.

There is significant disappointment following elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid.

That exit on penalties came as a bitter blow for the Nerazzurri. Particularly given all the good work they had done to give themselves the advantage in the first leg.

But there is still the matter of wrapping up the Serie A title to attend to.

With a whopping sixteen-point hap in the table with ten matches to go, Inter are obviously the prohibitive favourites to lift the title.

But how the team approach the coming matches could be interesting.

After all, the Nerazzurri are not just out of the Champions League. They also went out of the Coppa Italia early this season, meaning that there are no other knockout matches left.

Frattesi, Asllani & Bisseck To Start For Inter Vs Napoli

One priority over the rest of the season could be to allow some of the younger players in the squad to shine.

The Nerazzurri will of course still prioritize getting the results they need to confirm their status as champions.

But there is now a feeling that one eye is already on next season.

And so rather than continuing to use the most experienced players in league matches week in and week out, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi could be ready to hand opportunities to younger players.

And three in particular will get the chance to start tomorrow.

Facing off against the reigning Italian champions, Sky report that Inzaghi will overhaul the midfield. That will mean starts for both Frattesi and Asllani.

And in defense, the broadcaster anticipate, Bisseck will take the place of Benjamin Pavard.
