The Sporting Director of Genoa has given his thoughts on the reported interest of Inter Milan in forward Albert Gudmundsson.

Grifone Sporting Director Marco Ottolini spoke to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, touching upon the 26-year-old’s links to the Nerazzurri and other top clubs.

Icelandic international forward Gudmundsson has come onto the radar of Inter in a big way.

According to recent reports, the Nerazzurri have made clear to Genoa that they consider the Icelander a target.

Naturally, Gudmundsson would certainly not come cheap.

The former AZ Alkmaar forward has found the back of the net ten times in Serie A this season. He has also assisted a further three goals.

This fact, along with Gudmundsson’s versatility, age, and steady trajectory of improvement, have made the 26-year-old one of the breakout stars of the Serie A season.

Reportedly, Juventus, Fiorentina, and Tottenham Hotspur are also among the player’s suitors.
