FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Chinè will wrap up the investigation concerning the racism row between Juan Jesus and Francesco Acerbi rather swiftly.

The alleged racial abuse ensued during last Sunday’s Serie A encounter between Inter Milan and Napoli.

The Partnenopei defender told the match official that his opponent addressed him while using a racial slur.

While Jesus was willing to put the whole episode behind him following Acerbi’s apology on the pitch, the situation erupted again on Monday.

The Nerazzurri defender denied racially abusing his opponent, which sparked a reply from the Napoli man on social media.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Chinè is looking to act swiftly and decisively.

The Italian FA prosecutor will commence today by listening to the accuser.

After talking to Juan Jesus, Chinè will proceed by questioning Acerbi tomorrow.

According to the report, Chiné could speak with referee La Penna if deemed useful for the investigation.

The pink newspaper also expects Acerbi to maintain his story and deny the use of the N-word. The Nerazzurri defender will claim to have said “I’ll make you black”.

As for Inter, the club will await until the announcement of the ruling before deciding on the matter. Which could come next week.

The Inter directors aren’t happy with how the situation has been handled. Starting with Acerbi’s comments on his way back from Rome.

The veteran defender has now resumed training alongside his club teammates at Appiano Gentile after leaving the Italy camp while he awaits his fate.
