Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson and Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori are Inter Milan’s two top targets in attack for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter are working to strengthen in attack for next season.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi wants more strength in depth behind this campaign’s starting pair of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

There is already one player on the way in – Mehdi Taremi is set to sign on a free transfer from Porto.

The Iranian international can bring both a goal threat in the penalty area, and a physical reference point leading the line.

But Inter aren’t finished with reinforcing their attack. Inzaghi still expects another signing.

And the profile that the coach is seeking is not another out-and-out centre-forward.

Rather, Inzaghi wants to sign a player with quality on the dribble.

Gudmundsson & Raspadori Top Inter Shortlist Of “Missing Piece” Attacking Signings

According to the Corriere, there are two forwards in Serie A who would fit the profile Inter are looking for as the “missing piece” in their attacking setup.

One is Genoa forward Gudmundsson.

The Nerazzurri’s interest in the 26-year-old Icelandic international is certainly no secret. Recent reports suggest that they have made him a priority target.

Gudmundsson has scored ten and assisted three goals in Serie A this season.

That means, however, that there is plenty of competition for the former AZ Alkmaar forward’s signature. And furthermore that he will not come cheap.

Therefore, the Corriere report, Inter have another name high on their list of attacking targets.

24-year-old Italian international Raspadori had already been an Inter target in the past, prior to joining Napoli in the summer of 2022.

And according to the Corriere, the Nerazzurri still see Raspadori as having an ideal profile for their attack.

Therefore, Inter would be ready to reignite their pursuit of Raspadori from Napoli.
