Atheltico Paranaense will not let goalkeeper Bento go for a fee of less than €15 million with Inter Milan and teams from the Premier League keen.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper note that there is a steep release clause of 60 million in the 24-year-old’s contract.

It now looks to be a matter of “when” rather than “if” Bento makes the move to a European club.

The young goalkeeper has been shining in the Brazilian top flight for a couple seasons.

Bento has earned the starting spot in goal at Paranaense.

And this form earned the 24-year-old his first senior cap for the Brazilian national team. He started for the Selecao in a friendly win over England during the international break.

And Bento’s form is not just significant for his future international career. The 24-year-old is also attracting some major transfer interest.

Inter are keen on the Brazilian keeper.

The Nerazzurri have been tracking Bento for quite a few months. They see him as one of their primary targets to succeed Yann Sommer in goal in the long term.

And for his part, Tuttosport report, Bento is keen on the move to Inter.

The newspaper confirm that the Brazilian has already agreed to a move to the Nerazzurri.

Athletico Paranaense Want At Least 15M For Inter Target Bento

Bento is not only on the radar of Inter, however.

Tuttosport report that there are also clubs in the Premier League who consider the Brazilian to be a target.

And considering the fact that the English top flight is awash in cash, this could see Bento’s valuation rise.

Tuttosport note that there is a 60 million release clause in Bento’s contract.

Athletico will not hold out for close to that amount. However, they also are not going to allow the keeper to leave for a bargain fee.

According to Tuttosport, the Brazilian club will demand no less than 15 million for Bento.

Therefore, if Inter or any other club want to sign the 24-year-old this summer, it will require a significant investment.
