Simone Inzaghi will start his strongest possible starting eleven for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Empoli.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is just about ready to name a starting eleven for the first time in two weeks.

The Nerazzurri return to action in Serie A after a couple weeks away during the international break.

And the coming weeks will see the team in action nine more times.

Inter face nine Serie A matches, starting with Empoli tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are not in either European competition or the Coppa Italia after round of sixteen exits from both.

Inzaghi To Start Strongest Possible Inter XI Vs Empoli

Inter have a fourteen-point gap at the top of the Serie A table. This would certainly seem to make them prohibitive favourites to clinch the title.

But that does not mean that there is any room for complacency.

And it is for that reason that Inzaghi is not going to think about squad rotation in the team’s first match back from the break.

That means that in goal, Yann Sommer will start. The Swiss international is fit.

Meanwhile, the trio of Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Acerbi, and Benjamin Pavard will start at the back.

On the flanks, it will be an Italian international duo. Federico Dimarco will start on the left for Inter, while Matteo Darmian will start on the right.

Then, in midfield, it will be the trio of Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Hakan Caljhanoglu to start.

Lastly, in attack, captain Lautaro Martinez will lead the line alongside French international Marcus Thuram.

The Corriere’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for tomorrow’s match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro.
