Inter Milan are pushing to sign Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

This according to Italian broadcaster Radio Kiss Kiss, via FCInterNews. The report claims that there is also interest in the 30-year-old’s signature, and that the Nerazzurri are trying to convince the player.

At the moment, Di Lorenzo is under contract with Napoli until the end of June 2028.

The Italian international joined the Partenopei from Empoli in the summer of 2019.

And Di Lorenzo has made over two hundred appearances for Napoli in all competitions. He had made 223 in total, scoring fifteen goals for the club.

The 30-year-old has been a key player ever since joining.

This included last season, when Napoli won the Serie A title for the first time in over three decades.

Di Lorenzo also wears the armband for the reigning Italian champions. Few players have the same importance in their squad.

However, according to Radio Kiss Kiss, Di Lorenzo could very well leave the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this summer.

Inter Pushing To Sign Napoli Captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo

Inter are already signing one player from Napoli this summer.

The Nerazzurri have agreed a deal with midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The Polish international will join Inter when his contract with Napoli runs out at the end of June.

But Inter may not be finished there.

Reports have suggested that former Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori is on Inter’s radar for next season.

And according to Radio Kiss Kiss, Partenopei captain Di Lorenzo is also a target for the Nerazzurri.

The 30-year-old would certainly be a high-profile signing for Inter.

The Nerazzurri already have several Italian internationals in their squad.

And Di Lorenzo would add plenty of quality, experience, and versatility to the team.

Meanwhile, Radio Kiss Kiss report, there is also interest from teams in the Premier League in bringing Di Lorenzo to England this summer.
