The agent of Ciro Immobile reveals the striker would like to remain at Lazio amidst links to Inter Milan, but leaves the door open for an exit.

The 34-year-old has been serving the capital side since 2016, cementing himself as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The Euro 2020 winner remains tied to a contract with the Biancocelesti until June 2026. However, some sources believe that his underwhelming campaign could prompt a summer exit.

In recent weeks, Inter have emerged as a possible destination for the veteran striker.

Nevertheless, his agent Alessandro Moggi insists that the player intends to stay at Lazio.

“Ciro represents the history of Lazio. He’s the club captain,” he told Sport Mediaset via FcInterNews.

However, Moggi doesn’t completely rule out an exit. The agent notes that the circumstances can always change.

“Immobile is doing well in Rome but it is clear that many situations can arise during the season and at the end of it.

“His will is to stay in Rome and continue to wear the Lazio shirt. This is something that he has demonstrated over the years.

“But then again, other options can still arise in the transfer market,” concluded the agent.

The Italy international won the Serie A top-scorer award on four occasions throughout his storied career, including three during his time at Lazio.

But this season, he has only found the back on the net on 10 occasions in 29 appearances across all competitions. Several of those strikes came from the spot.
