Inter Milan have are reportedly rekindled their interest in Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

With the summer transfer market approaching, the Nerazzurri are being linked with a host of possible signings.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Serie A leaders have now set their sights on Wan-Bissaka.

This isn’t the first time the England international emerges as an Inter transfer target. However, the 26-year-old could be a tad more affordable this time around.

The former Crystal Palace man joined Man Utd in the summer of 2019 for 55 million euros. However, he never truly managed to live up to the expectations.

As the source notes, the English fullback is also enduring an underwhelming campaign. He only made 15 Premier League appearances thus far, and hasn’t been too convincing.

Moreover, Wan-Bissaka’s contract with the Red Devils will expire in June 2025. Therefore, the EPL giants could be open to a cut-price sale this summer to avoid losing him for free a year later.

Thus, the pink newspaper believes Inter would be able to strike an agreement for around 15 million euros.

Nevertheless, this operation heavily depends on the future of Denzel Dumfries.

Like Wan-Bissaka, the Dutchman is also running on a contract expiring in 2025. Therefore, Inter would be happy to sell him if they were to receive an offer in the region of 30 million euros this summer.

As we reported earlier this week, the 27-year-old has suitors in the Premier League, which may possibly include Aston Villa.

So if Dumfries ends up leaving the club, Inter could well identify Wan-Bissaka as a direct replacement.

As for Tajon Buchanan, the source believes that Simone Inzaghi prefers to deploy him on the left wing. Therefore, the Nerazzurri would certainly need a new player on the right flank in case Dumfries departs.
