The 24-year-old exploded onto the scene during his early days at Valencia. This earned him a big-money move to Manchester City in the summer of 2020.
After spending 18 months at Pep Guardiola’s court, the Spaniard made his return to his home country through Barca’s gates.
Torres originally plays as a left winger but has at times featured as a false 9 for both club and country.
The Spain international started the campaign on a positive note, but a hamstring injury derailed his momentum.
According to El Nacional via FcInter1908, the Nerazzurri are interested in the player’s services.
The Spanish source claims the Italian champions have inquired about his situation in Catalunya.
As the report tells it, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi appreciates Ferran’s versatility, so he’d like to add him to his attacking ranks.
On the other hand, Barcelona aren’t keen to part ways with the former Man City man. However, the Catalans know they must sell players in order to fund their summer transfer campaign.
Therefore, the Blaugrana would be willing to cash in on Torres if they were to receive a decent proposal.

The source claims Barcelona president Joan Laporta had initially named his price at 55 million euros. This is the same figure the club splashed to sign the player back in 2022.

This season, Torres has made 38 appearances in all competitions. He has contributed with 11 goals and four assists thus far.
The player’s contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2027.
