Inter Milan and Venezia are working on finding a full accord for the transfer of Tanner Tessman, with Gaetano Oristanio heading in the opposite direction.

The 22-year-old has been sharpening his tools in the Venetian city since making the move from Dallas in 2021.

Last season, the American cemented himself as one of the most impressive young stars in Serie B. He helped his club finish in the play-offs zone and subsequently secure a return to the top flight.

But with his contract expiring next summer, the Lagunari will be looking to sell the mifielder in this transfer session to avoid the risk of losing him for free a year later.

Therefore, Inter are looking to pounce on the situation and secure an agreement with Venezia on a relatively low fee.

As we reported earlier today, this move could cost the Italian champions circa 5 million euros.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri will sign Tessman on a permanent basis.

The same goes for Oristanio who will join Venezia permanently. The 21-year-old is an Inter youth product who spent the previous campaign on loan at Cagliari.

The attacking midfielder is unlikely to carve himself enough space at Simone Inzaghi’s court. Therefore, he’ll have to leave the club in search of playing time.

Inter Milan Could Send Tanner Tessman On Loan To The Premier League Next Season

Moreover, Di Marzio adds that Inter could send Tessman on loan to the Premier League after completing the move.

This would allow the USMNT star to earn valuable experience at the highest level before joining Inter’s ranks in 2025.

The Alabama native contributed with seven goals and three assists in 42 appearances across all competitions last season.
