Inter Milan and Venezia are wrapping up the final details of a deal for midfielder Tanner Tessmann.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the key detail the clubs must still iron out is the formula for including Gaetano Oristanio and Filip Stankovic in the deal.

Tessmann is one of Inter’s surprise summer transfer targets.

The 22-year-old US international is a player who the Nerazzurri are very much looking at with an eye to the future.

Tessmann will certainly have no place in Inter’s squad next season. But reportedly their plan is to sign him this summer, and then loan him back to Venezia now that they are in Serie A.

Inter & Venezia Wrapping Up Tanner Tessmann Deal – Oristanio & Stankovic Formulas Being Discussed

According to Tuttosport, there is no doubt that Tessmann will join Inter this summer.

The Nerazzurri have an agreement with the player, and Venezia are ready to make the deal.

A key part of the negotiations between the clubs has been the inclusion of a couple of Inter players joining Venezia as part of the deal.

One is attacking midfielder Gaetano Oristanio. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Cagliari.

Then, Venezia will also be signing Inter goalkeeper Filip Stankovic. The Serb spent last campaign on loan with Sampdoria in Serie B.

Oristanio and Stankovic in fact spent the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons on loan at Volendam in the Netherlands together.

The Inter duo helped Volendam win promotion to the Eredivise from the Dutch second division, and then remain in the top flight during their second campaign at the club.

And now, Oristanio and Stankovic will be reunited at Venezia.

However, what is not clear is exactly the formula by which the two Inter players will be part of the deal.

Reportedly, Venezia will sign Oristanio on a permanent basis, without Inter having a buyback option.

Less clear for the moment is the formula of the deal for Stankovic. The goalkeeper could join on loan or on a permanent deal.
