Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to ring the changes in his starting lineup once more for this weekend’s contest against Udinese.
The Nerazzurri are coming off a disappointing defeat at the hands of crosstown rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.
Aside from the result, Inzaghi’s men appeared out of sorts and short of ideas.
Therefore, the Piacenza native will once again introduce considerable changes to his lineup.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, tomorrow’s starting XI could feature five changes from last weekend.
Yann Sommer will maintain his spot between the sticks as usual. Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni should also be confirmed.
However, Inzaghi appears likely to drop Benjamin Pavard in favor of Yann Bisseck.
The Frenchman has yet to find his footing since the start of the season, while the German produced an impressive display against Manchester City in the Champions League opener last week.
Inter Milan To Make Five Changes To The Starting Lineup Vs Udinese
On the right flank, Matteo Darmian will reclaim his starting berth, pushing Denzel Dumfries to the bench. Nevertheless, Federico Dimarco should preserve his spot on the opposite wing.
Inzaghi will also unleash a new-look midfield consisting of Davide Frattesi, Hakan Calhangolu and Piotr Zielinski.
Nicolo Barella is unavailable due to injury while Henrikh Mkhitaryan could get some rest after failing to impress.
Finally, club captain Lautaro Martinez could make way for Mehdi Taremi upfront. The Iranian would thus spearhead the charge alongside Marcus Thuram, similar to the Man City clash.
