Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck continues to grow from strength to strength and the numbers are proving his remarkable improvements.

The 23-year-old joined the club as a relative unknown last season following a stint in Denmark with Aarhus. Nevertheless, he has been showcasing his talent ever since he arrived.

This season, Simone Inzaghi has been giving the German more playing time, fielding him either on the right or the left of the back three.

The Koln native has been rising to the plate, delivering solid displays whenever his services are called upon.

According to DataMB Pro via FcInter1908, Bisseck won the most duels among U23 defenders across Europe.

The Germany U21 starlet has a highly impressive percentage of 86.36%. He is just ahead of Las Palmas centre-back Juanma Herzog who prevailed in 85.71% of his duels.

Arsenal star William Saliba completes the podium by winning 85% of the duels. The young Frenchman is already a bona fide star in the Premier League and on the international stage.

Osasuna’s Jorge Herrando and RB Leipzig’s Castello Lukeba land fourth and fifth respectively.

PSV Eindhoven youngster Ryan Flamingo is in sixth place, with RC Lens star Adbukodir Khusanov seventh.

Inter Milan Star Yann Bisseck Tops The Charts For U23 European Defenders

Leicester City’s Caleb Okoli gets the 10th spot with a percentage of 81.63%. The Italo-Nigerian joined the Foxes last summer after rising through the ranks at Atalanta and spending the last campaign on loan at Frosinone.

But while the list features some interesting names, Bisseck is the one leading the charts, at least at this stage of the season.

The 23-year-old’s exploits should earn him a new and improved contract sooner rather than later. His agents have reportedly reached an agreement with the Inter management, with only the signatures missing.
