Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to stick with Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram in attack against Hellas Verona.

This according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi will remain as potential options off the bench during the match.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will have to make his decisions in attack tomorrow evening.

Inter are coming back from the international break with a Serie A match away to Hellas Verona. However, Inzaghi will not only have that match on his mind.

The Inter coach will also have to consider the upcoming matches for his team.

The Nerazzurri are playing virtually twice a week for the foreseeable future. Their next two matches come against RB Leipzig in the Champions League and Fiorentina in Serie A.

Therefore, Inter can hardly have players in the squad playing every single match across all competitions.

As such, Inzaghi will have to consider squad rotation starting with tomorrow’s match.

Inzaghi Ready To Stick With Lautaro & Thuram In Attack For Inter Vs Verona

In attack, there have been rumours that Inzaghi could leave out one of the regular starters.

There have been reports that Mehdi Taremi, Marko Arnautovic, and even Joaquin Correa could have a chance to start against Verona.

This would give the likes of Lautaro Martinez or Marcus Thuram a chance to avoid playing from the start ahead of so many other big matches.

However, according to the Gazzetta, Inzaghi will not go that route.

The newspaper is adamant that the Inter coach will start both of Martinez and Thuram.

However, there is every chance that the likes of Taremi or Arnautovic could come off the bench.

Any minutes that key players like Martinez and Thuram do not play could prove crucial in managing their fitness.

However, as far as the start of tomorrow’s match, the Gazzetta reports that Martinez and Thuram will start.

The newspaper anticipate that Inter coach Inzaghi will go more or less all-in to get the three points and set the right tone for the return to the Serie A title race.
