Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to put his faith in Marcus Thuram in the starting eleven against Hellas Verona tomorrow.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They also report that Lautaro Martinez is the favourite to start alongside the Frenchman.

Inter return to Serie A action tomorrow evening. They do so with a match away to Hellas Verona.

And Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is thinking about his starting eleven for the clash at the Bentegodi.

On the one hand, Inter will want to return from the international break and make a statement.

Three points are virtually obligatory for the Nerazzurri considering the tight title race that they find themselves in at the moment.

However, on the other hand, Inzaghi already has squad rotation on his mind.

The Nerazzurri coach will have to carefully manage the fitness of all the players in his squad at this stage.

For the coming months, Inter will more or less be playing twice per week.

Inzaghi To Put His Faith In Marcus Thuram In Serie A Clash Vs Hellas Verona

According to Tuttosport, one regular starter who Inzaghi will certainly give the nod tomorrow is French international striker Thuram.

The 27-year-old has been away with his national team during the break.

Therefore, there could well be one or two questions about Thuram’s freshness for tomorrow’s match.

But Tuttosport report that Inter coach Inzaghi sees Thuram as an essential player for the starting eleven tomorrow afternoon.

Thuram has now gone five matches in the league without scoring after a blazing start. But with or without a goal, he is a vital influence in Inter’s attack.

As far as the strike partner for Thuram, there are three options.

Mehdi Taremi was away with the Iran international team during the break. Marko Arnautovic was part of the Austria team.

Meanwhile, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez was with the Argentina national team during the break.

According to Tuttosport, it is Martinez who is the favourite to start alongside Thuram tomorrow.
