Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi enjoyed a dream start to his adventure in Italy after leaving Porto as a free agent in the summer.
During the exclusive interview for the Inter Matchday Programme via FCInterNews, the Iranian star opened up on his life in Italy.
After four memorable years at Porto, Taremi joined Inter on a Bosman deal in the summer.
The 32-year-old went from strength to strength during off-season preparations, scoring goals almost at will.
However, he has struggled for consistency in competitive action.
Yet to score in Serie A, Taremi netted once in the UEFA Champions League against Red Star Belgrade.
Despite his underwhelming scoring output, Simone Inzaghi holds the Iranian ace in high esteem.
Indeed, Taremi will likely start in tonight’s match against RB Leipzig.
He and Lautaro Martinez will be Inzaghi’s attacking pairing after Joaquin Correa and Marcus Thuram picked Hellas Verona apart on Saturday.
