Denzel Dumfries has drawn level with Federico Dimarco for net wages at Inter Milan.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, note that the Dutchman has lower gross wages, however, due to the Growth Decree.

Dumfries has officially signed a new contract with Inter.

The 28-year-old, whose previous deal had been set to run out at the end of next June, has put pen to paper with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2028.

This new contract for Dumfries also sees the former PSV wingback’s earnings goes up.

Inter have rewarded Dumfries for his loyalty and consistent performances with the extension.

Denzel Dumfries Equals Federico Dimarco Net Wages At Inter Milan

Dumfries has seen his wages rise from €2.5 million to €4 million net per season.

That is right around the same amount that Italian international Federico Dimarco earns on his current contract.

Therefore, there is a certain sense of symmetry. Dumfries and Dimarco play on opposite sides of the pitch as wingbacks for Inter.

There is, however, one key difference, notes Tuttosport.

The gross amount that Inter spend on Dimarco’s wages is higher than that on Dumfries.

The reason for this is that the Nerazzurri still receive the tax benefits of the Growth Decree on the latter’s wages.
