Inter Milan are following the situation of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who could be on his way out of PSG soon.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

At the moment, Donnarumma is in the midst of his fourth season at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian international made the move to the French capital on a free transfer from AC Milan in the summer of 2021. That was the same summer that Italy won the Euros, with Donnarumma starring.

But it has been a bit of a mixed time in Paris for Donnarumma.

The 25-year-old has won his share of domestic silverware. And his performances have certainly contributed to that.

But there have also been a few high-profile errors from Donnarumma.

And there has been some European disappointment. Including, this week, on a personal level for the former Rossoneri keeper.

Inter On Alert As Gianluigi Donnarumma Could Leave PSG

As the Gazzetta note, PSG coach Luis Enrique snubbed Donnarumma for this week’s big Champions League outing against Bayern Munich.

The coach preferred Matvei Safonov in goal.

Being on the bench for such a high profile match was hardly positive for Donnarumma.

And the 25-year-old is currently in contract talks with PSG. His deal runs out at the end of June 2026 as things stand.

Therefore, discontent from Donnarumma over a spell on the bench could certainly see him leave the Parc des Princes.

And the Gazzetta report that Inter are monitoring the situation.

The Nerazzurri are considering their plans to replace Yann Sommer in goal in the long term.
