Wingback Carlos Augusto is back in training for Inter Milan ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A match against Parma.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that defender Francesco Acerbi is still out, however, and will miss tomorrow’s match.
Inter wingback Augusto has been out with a minor thigh problem for the past few days.
The issue for the Brazilian was not a recurrence of the thigh strain that he picked up against Young Boys in October.
Rather, the issue affected the other thigh. It was something that Augusto picked up in training.
This was good news considering that the previous thigh injury that Augusto had suffered from had caused the 25-year-old to miss several weeks of action.
Augusto was, however, not in the squad for Inter’s Serie A match against Fiorentina last Sunday.

According to Sky, though, Augusto is already back in full training.
Therefore, the Brazilian should certainly be ready to be in the squad for tomorrow’s match.
That is good news for Inter coach Simone Inzaghi. Augusto is a versatile player who is able to play either on the left flank or on the left of a back three.
Therefore, the former Monza defender’s return bolsters the depth behind the likes of Federico Dimarco and Alessandro Bastoni with a slate of big matches on the way in a busy period for Inter.
On the other hand, Sky confirm, defender Francesco Acerbi is not yet back.
Acerbi has been recovering from a thigh strain. The 36-year-old picked up the problem during Inter’s Serie A win over Hellas Verona after the November international break.
Acerbi had hoped to be back for tomorrow’s match.
However, the wait for the Italian international to return will be at least a bit longer.
