Inter Milan will sign a replacement for Tajon Buchanan in the event that the Canadian international leaves during the January transfer window.
This according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin. He reports on Twitter that the Nerazzurri are ready to loan Buchanan out. And would look to sign a wingback to take his place if he departs.
It is looking more and more likely that wingback Tajon Buchanan could leave Inter before the end of the January window.

Canada national team coach Jesse Marsch has admitted that Buchanan in fact told him that he wants to join a club where he’ll get more playing time.
And there are a few clubs interested in the former Club Brugge wingback’s signature.
In Serie A the likes of Monza and Torino have identified Buchanan as a January reinforcement. Roma have also reportedly inquired about the possibility.
Then, Ajax and Villarreal have also reportedly come forward as candidates to sign Buchanan on loan.
Inter Milan To Sign Replacement If Tajon Buchanan Leaves
There would certainly be benefits to sending Buchanan out on loan to get more playing time. Particularly if that is what the player himself wants.
However, the fact remains that Buchanan has an important role in the Nerazzurri’s squad.

Inter need plenty of depth in the windback positions. Particularly since both Matteo Darmian and Carlos Augusto frequently fill in in the back three.
Therefore, if Buchanan were to depart, it would leave a gap in the squad.
Inter do not consider four wingbacks to be sufficient depth.
Accordingly, Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin reports, Inter would look to sign a replacement for Buchanan.
Meanwhile, Biasin anticipates, defender Tomas Palacios will be back in Inter’s squad for the Club World Cup this summer after a probable loan this month.
