Atalanta tested the waters to potentially sign out-of-favour Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa during the January transfer window.
This according to Italian transfer journalist Matteo Moretto. He reports in a tweet that a move for the 30-year-old never materialized, however.
At the moment, former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria forward Joaquin Correa is an Inter player.
The Argentine has largely been on the margins of the Nerazzurri squad this season. In fact, it came as something of a surprise that he stayed at the club at all last summer after his loan at Marseille ended.
Correa has had one shining moment this campaign. He had a starring role in a 5-0 win against Hellas Verona in November.
However, that was Correa’s only start for Inter over the course of the season.
anche la Fiorentina ha cercato Arnautovic e l’Atalanta sondato Correa ma non si sono create le condizioni per andare avanti.
