Inter Milan could outlay €100 million in the transfer market this summer, with Samuele Ricci, Nico Paz, and Santiago Castro among the targets.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInter1908.
The last few years have been ones of austerity for Inter as far as the transfer window.
The Nerazzurri’s very public financial issues forced them to make big money sales of players like Achraf Hakimi, Romelu Lukaku, and Andre Onana.
Meanwhile, coming the other way, Inter have relied on a series of shrewd free transfer signings.
Last summer there were signs that things are starting to change. There was never the slightest hint Inter could have to sell any big name players.
But it also was not a summer of lavish spending for the Nerazzurri either. It was a very quiet transfer window.
This time around, however, it could be a very different story.
Inter largely kept their squad intact last summer. But this summer they are ready to make changes and revitalize the team.
Inter Plot €100M Summer Spending: Ricci, Paz & Castro On Shortlist
Inter have already spent around €15 million to bring Petar Sucic to the club for next season.
But the Nerazzurri certainly are not stopping there.

The revenues from the expanded Champions League campaign and the Club World Cup, coming at a time when Inter are already in a more positive financial situation than they’ve been in years, will enable significant investment in the transfer market.
Furthermore, Inter are all but certain to sell Davide Frattesi in the summer. The Italian international should fetch around €40 million.
And Nerazzurri owners Oaktree Capital have made clear that their plan is to make the squad younger.
Inter’s top target in midfield will be Nico Paz.
The Argentine will cost no less than €40 million in view of his stellar form this season. Then, there is the role that Real Madrid’s buyback clause could play in his situation.
But Inter will undoubtedly make their move for Paz.
Another midfielder on Inter’s shortlist would be Torino and Italy man Samuele Ricci.
Then, the Nerazzurri are ready to invest €25-30 million in Bologna striker Santiago Castro. The Argentine would be a replacement for the likes of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic in attack.
Meanwhile, Inter would see Castro’s Bologna teammate Sam Beukema as their first choice in defense.

Nico Paz has said that his dream is to play for RM. Even if he comes, RM will have a buy-back clause to get him when we have made him ready. Better seek a more suitable player; we don’t need to be a feeder club.
to compete Inter must start spending money
plain and simple
Out In
Acerbi – Boscagli (free)
Darmian – Dodo (25-30 mil)
Frattesi (40-45 mil) – Paz (40 mil)
Asllani (25-30 mil) – Ricci (30-35 mil)

We need younger, faster, hungrier players. Viable and realistic transfers for us 😀
we cant seem to use frattesi ability well, i just hope sucic and paz could be the better option for us, we should depart with correa, arnautovic, sell taremi and bring 1 decent striker with 15-20 goal / season to relieve burden from tikus and taro
