Inter Milan are eyeing up a shock move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as a replacement if PSG sign Marcus Thuram.
This according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. They report that the Nerazzurri would see the Serbian international as a better replacement for Thuram than Lille striker Jonathan David.
Inter Milan are considering the possibility that they may have to replace striker Marcus Thuram.
The Frenchman’s form over the past couple seasons has certainly attracted plenty of transfer interest.
And TMW report that Paris Saint-Germain in particular are keen to sign the 27-year-old.
The Parisians could make their move this summer. And Thuram does have a release clause in his contract worth round €85 million – therefore, Inter would not be able to turn down a bid of that size.

Inter would obviously look to sign a replacement if Thuram were to be on his way.
The priority would be to sign a relatively young striker. That would be in keeping with the priority of Inter owners Oaktree Capital to reduce the average age of the squad.
And according to TMW, Inter would see Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as the ideal target.
On the surface, a move for the Serb may seem improbable.
However, Vlahovic would certainly check Inter’s boxes in terms of being a prolific striker who is still relatively young at 25 yeas of age.
Moreover, it seems more an more likely that Vlahovic will leave Juventus this summer.
The former Fiorentina striker has fallen out of favour under Bianconeri coach Thiago Motta.
Moreover, Vlahovic’s contract with Juventus expires at the end of June 2026. And at the moment there is little sign that he will sign an extension.
Therefore this summer could be the last chance the Bianconeri have to cash in on Vlahovic.
The Serb cost Juventus around €60 million. However, in light of Vlahovivc’s contract situation, Inter would look to chip that fee down significantly.
Meanwhile, Lille striker Jonathan David is another potential option. However, reports TMW, Inter would prefer Vlahovic on the basis that he is already proven in Serie A.
If the choice is between David or Vlahovic. I will choose vlahovic. He is proven serie A player, still young, have a height.

Play him as a 2nd ST or if chasing a game as RW.
He’s not exactly pacey but still has the ability to take people on and create space / chances for others.
And is a world class finisher!!!!
He would have a field day back in serie A.

Players usually perform well in a stable well defined teams. Thuram fits Inter as much as Inter fits Thuram same thing for Lautaro really. But if offers comes in for one of them which is decent then selling one of them makes complete sense. Vlahovic is a decent striker with goals the problem is Rube will make sure Inter pay the maximum to him even tho he’s not going to stay and not in their plans. In Thuram perspective he could stay at Inter and develop his styles which is more than just scoring goal or he risks his career going downhill on a team with too much pressure

Vlahovic is a big no. He is a potent striker, but misses a lot of scoring chances and leaves much to desire in linkup play and defense.
I think vlahovic for 30mils is a steal for inter. he was unfortunate stuck with a badly managed rube team. he will be an excellent partner for toro upfront. the only problem will be salary. we can’t afford.12mils a year for him

Replacing Thuram with Vlahovic looks lika a Thohir era all over again. Besides, Thuram is a pacy player and Vlahovic is slow as fck. They are two completely different types of players, this news makes no sense at all.

How is Vlahovic prolific? Vlahovic is not a top striker and doesn’t check and boxes. These rumors are rubbish.

Salah is good, but he cant play winger in 3-5-2, he doesnt have the pace to defense. Or he may play striker in the front. Plus, Serie A is less pace than premier league, less space for him to sprint like in Liverpool. Plus, Inter wont afford him compare to the salary from Saudi.
If there was any way we could get Salah, it would be a problem worth solving to find space for him somewhere in our team, that guy is in god mode right now.
