Inter Milan pulled off a pivotal 2-0 victory against Feyenoord in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday night.

Stefan de Vrij was one of the architects of Inter’s triumph in Rotterdam.

Indeed, he helped Simone Inzaghi’s side keep an eighth clean sheet in nine Champions League fixtures this season.

Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram held up their end of the bargain in the final third.

After the game, De Vrij took to Instagram with the photo, saying: “A special night in a special stadium, thank you.”
