Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Mehdi Taremi in attack and Hakan Calhanoglu in midfield against Feyenoord. This evening’s Champions League round of 16 second leg clash kicks off at 21.00 CET.
Inter Milan host Feyenoord in the Champions League this evening at the San Siro.
The Nerazzurri are playing the second leg of a round of 16 tie against the Rotterdam-based side. Inter have a 2-0 advantage from the first leg of the tie.
However, they will hardly be taking anything for granted. Particularly, with Feyenoord having nothing to lose.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Inter also have a huge Serie A clash with Atalanta coming up next weekend.
Therefore, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has had to balance naming a strong enough team to get the necessary result with keeping key players fresh for Sunday’s clash with Atalanta.
Mehdi Taremi Starts In Attack & Hakan Calhanoglu In Midfield

In goal, firstly, Yann Sommer is back after five matches out of the starting eleven due to injury.
Therefore, Josep Martinez drops to the bench.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard and Yann Bisseck start on either side of Francesco Acerbi in Inter’s back three. Stefan de Vrij injured himself in the warm-up.
On the flanks, then, Inter are still in the midst of an injury crisis. All of Matteo Darmian, Nicola Zalewski, and Federico Dimarco are unavailable due to injury.
However, Carlos Augusto is back fit. The Brazilian starts at left-wingback, having come off the bench against Monza on Saturday.
And then, on the opposite flank, Denzel Dumfries starts.
In midfield, meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu gets the nod – there is no chance for the Turkish international to catch his breath ahead of Sunday’s match against Atalanta.
Starting alongside the Turkish international, meanwhile, are Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Davide Frattesi.
Piotr Zielinski is out with a calf problem.
Lastly, in attack there is a notable name. Mehdi Taremi leads the line alongside Marcus Thuram.
Therefore, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez gets a rest alongside the likes of Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni.

Liverpool OUT
now for possibly our biggest game of this serie a season. after our nerazzuri cousins buried the merdentini they are flying high. with Cunte finishing all his big matches and this being a potential 6 pointer, we have no room for slip ups.
Conte actually struggles a LOT with smaller teams. Napoli are highly overrated because despite being a decent squad that didn’t compete in many competitions they still couldn’t take advantage.Inter on the other hand are the exact opposite
this and people always think we’re not good enough. they are blind, we’re still in 3 competitions despite all the problems we’ve had.
PSG 1- Liverpool 0
1-1 so far hope it will be penalties!
Their speed and technical skills are so entertaining
PSG wanted penalties. Maybe they will eliminate Liverpool
Good job. The guys are in the last 8 teams in the UCL. If we lose vs Bayern, I am still happy.
It is a good thing the young talents were given the opportunity to taste the UCL.
I hope we approach bayern with a desire to win well. I hope we don’t go for the get a goal and defend strategy as bayern will eat us alive. loved seeing the youngsters in action the berenbuch guy is going to be the next barella. can’t wait for our injury bench get back. inter won today with our b team which is impressive.
Berenbuch the next Barellamaybe the next Barilla(italian pasta)
Probably wouldn’t happen. Simple question, which is more important or more achievable? UCL or Serie A? If team decide UCL is more important, maybe good game vs Bayern, but if team decide Serie A is more important, then just good luck on whatever result it is. I personally think any result vs Bayern is good to take, considering the injuries, bench depth, battle with Napoli, Atlanta.
defending the title in serie a is much more valuable to prove we’re not one season wonder team. ucl is like bragging rights and the journey is all about luck
hi guys congrats forza inter!!!
btw any update on disqus commenting possibility or any other more handy methods? sorry but current commenting method is garbage.
Nima is a cheap bastard and won’t let us have Disqus. He said Disqus was no longer working for them. Didn’t say why, all he said is we have to trust him…
I hope inter will win against Munich, but due to injuries they won’t. Good run inter among the strong 8 not bad
A win is a win. But we are way too wasteful. We are trying way too hard to score goals. Too many flicks and wasted chances. We need to be more clinical, we have Bayern to beat ffs
It doesn’t matter how much Davide cries, Inter is among the last 8 teams standing in the Champions League
The kids already having a better game than Asllani
They both are very good
Looks like it. Hopefully we see more of them rest of the season.
Knowing Inzaghi, he won’t use them as much. But still.
Matteo Cocchi in
When i watch other teams i dont see this many shots blasted over the bar, this team is addicted to golazos and never heard of placing shots.
Aslani Thuram + injuries will miss next match!
Thuram hasnt recieved a yellow all season, he’ll play.
I disagree with this penalty; where the heck the players need to place his legs?
Pathetic dive
STUPID Thuram. He will miss first match next round.
VERY CHILDISH!!!
Why would he? Thats his first card
Penalty Thuram
I swear as soon as mikhi came here he lost his goal scoring touch. Other than a few games here and there I never feel confident when he gets into positions
Yea Asllani has to go, he is terrified of this level.
Asllani the useless
Frattesi has been very dynamic.
Aslani got yellow right off the bat. STUPID as usual.
he is useless anyways
What a sloppy penalty from the dutch player LOL
goal hakan
Taremi just saved his assss by this penalty won.
Penalty inter.
These penalties are too soft for my taste. Not mad at it but geez
hakan’s fault, but really was that hard to penalty, his shoulder seemed took the first touch though. and for most part of first half, what was taremi doing there? he even being blank in penalty area.
Hakan that was so mediocre defending with no pressure at all
well they kept passing the balls in their box. they deserve to have the dutch scored against inter. They will score another goal. Save these words
Dude your wrong %90 of the time nobody is saving your words lol
hahaha
Wrong again like always.
Hakan was just acting like a headless chicken there with no pressure at all. They never looked like scoring and a penalty was the only way they could have because of a stupid mistake
you just keep making a fool out of yourself
moron
1-1 they deserve it
Clumsy as hell by hakan. He wasnt even going tonget the pass.
Penalty for the Dutch
I hate how inter play like Barca passing the balls near their box every 2 minutes,
and we hate how you’re always crying about every little thing all the time. Don’t like it? Don’t watch. Simple as that.
How about you, u keep crying and cussing for the comment section. I am sure u have deleted it but I took a screenshot
Oh my god, you took a screenshot!!! Am I in trouble? GTFOH with that weak shit
not in-trouble it is just a reminder that u also complain but u just see other’s behaviour and never see ur own demeanour. You are probably one of the unrealistic fans who think inter will win the CL. Baraca real Madrid and B. M have better squads and less injuries.
I’m asking for the comment section to be fixed. Have you noticed how we barely have any comments now? We used to have 300+ comments during CL matches.
You, on the other hand, are complaining about every misplaced pass, every “wrong” substitution”, constantly stating that the team is bad. All you do is spread negativity towards the team you claim to support. If Inter we’re battling to make into the top 4, I would understand you’re constant whining. However, Inter is in first place in Serie A, Coppa Italia semis, and we’ll most likely play Bayern in the CL quarter finals. Do I need to mention that we finished fourth place in the league table (only two points behind first place Liverpool)? Inter is not playing at its best, but the situation isn’t even remotely as dire as you make it look with your constant whining.
Whether I think Inter will win the CL or not has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m pointing out. I’ve never made that claim, and I didn’t even bring it up on this thread. The fact that you resorted to that argument only proves my point. All you do is spread is negativity, which is sad.
Taremi is bad
Mikh is bad
Taremi sucks so bad sheesh
Taremi…..So Ass
Thuraaaam 1-0
Thats the Thuram I remember!
I really how we play with Frattesi, team feels weird with no Barella.
Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bisseck; Dumfries, Frattesi, Calla, Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto; Taremi, Thuram.
De Vrji is injured.
Two things:
1) Comments section on SempreInter is LIVE now = no need to update article, comment goes live as soon as youve published.
2) De Vrij injured in warmup, Acerbi replaces him
any thoughts on getting emojis and upvotes?
Inter will NOT win the CL. So enjoy today’s last winning match, They will NOT beat B. Munich. Good run overall.
We’re consistent in CL, something that should be appreciated, and we SHOULD be playing matches against teams like Bayern Munich to verify our position of 4th in the CL league table.
inter has many injuries,
bayern next!! An injured Thuram was way too much for them.! loved to see the younglings play. the berenbuch guy is going to be a ⭐⭐ cocchi looked confident too. I hope we get to see more of them going forward. mhikis best game in a long time, shows how much he has fallen of late.
what happened with your brain, dude? and, why are you here?
