Davide Frattesi was passable, but “lightyears away from Nicolo Barella” for Inter Milan in yesterday’s win over Feyenoord.
This is the view in the player ratings for the match, as highlighted by TuttoMercatoWeb.
Davide Frattesi got the start in yesterday’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg between Inter Milan and Feyenoord.
Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi rotated his team significantly.
That meant that Nicolo Barella was among the players who got a rest. This was ahead of Inter’s Serie A clash with Atalanta next weekend.
Frattesi “Lightyears” From Barella In Inter Milan Vs Feyenoord Clash
But in the view of Italian media, Frattesi was not really an adequate replacement for Barella.
The former Sassuolo midfielder hardly put in a bad performance in yesterday’s match.

There were no calamitous errors.
However, Frattesi did not show the same kind of ball control and technical polish that Barella virtually always does.
Moreover, the 25-year-old was not really able to make any of his own qualities shine.
There were no rampaging runs into the penalty area that would mark Frattesi out as a goal threat against Feyenoord in yesterday’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg.

honestly Fratessi needs to take Mikhi place if he wants a starting spot. He creates very little on attack (Mikhi is the same) but will be more advanced and be in a better position to shoot right footed and be a threat running forward as Mikhi does from time to time.
All those open chances Mikhi gets but instead imagine them falling to Fratessi.
I hope we get Paz next season as he would be incredible in Mikhi position and if we sell Fratessi to make that happen it will be fine as our team will actually be stronger.
Bye Bye Scudetto next season, Juventus are hiring J Klopp.
