Returns to form for Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is great news for Inter Milan ahead of crunch clashes with Atalanta and Bayern Munich.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have some absolutely huge matches on the way.
This weekend, the Nerazzurri make the short trip to Bergamo to take on Atalanta.
There is the feeling of a potential title-decider to that, with La Dea just three points behind Inter in the table.
Then, in April, Inter face Bayern Munich in a two-legged Champions League quarterfinal tie.
That will certainly represent a step up in difficulty from the round of sixteen tie against Feyenoord that Inter cruised through.
Calhanoglu & Mkhitaryan Form Great News For Inter Ahead Of Atalanta & Bayern Clashes
Inter Milan will certainly hope to have their key player at their best for matches against Atalanta and Bayern.
And in that respect, there have been some very positive signs.

Inter’s midfield is right at the heart of how their 3-5-2 system functions under Simone Inzaghi.
The midfielders’ endless running and positional understanding is key to supporting how the team plays both in and out of possession.
Therefore, Inzaghi tends to rely on a familiar midfield trio.
For that reason, it has been worrying to see drop-offs from regular midfield starters Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Calhanoglu has not quite looked his usual self since coming back from an injury at the start of February.
Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan has had a rough patch in form. The former Arsenal and Roma midfielder looked to be running out of gas in February. Not overly surprising at the age of 36.
But Calhanoglu looks to have shaken off lingering rust in his last couple performances.
And then Mkhitaryan had an outstanding all-action display against Feyenoord on Tuesday.
