Reigning Scudetto holders Inter Milan have dominated almost every chart in Serie A for the last two years, including set-piece records.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, Simone Inzaghi’s men stand out as arguably the most lethal aerial threat in European football.

Carlos Augusto bagged home a free header to open the scoring in Inter’s 2-0 victory at Atalanta last Sunday.

It was Inter’s 13th headed goal this season, accounting for the most such strikes across Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.

Inter Milan Top Serie A Set-Piece Charts

In addition to leading the way in the league standings, Inter are topping multiple charts across the board.

For instance, they’ve taken the most corners in Serie A (184), at least 172 than second-placed Lazio.

Furthermore, Hakan Calhanoglu and his teammates have averaged a league-high 6.5 crosses per game.

Ten of those 184 corner-kick delivers have found a way in, making Inter the most dangerous team from set-pieces in the league.

Therefore, Simone Inzaghi has every reason to be proud of his tactical setup.
