Italian journalist Carlo Pellgatti believes that Roberto De Zerbi could be a shock replacement for Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan.
Speaking on Area Fritta, via FCInter1908, the journalist made the shock claim that the Nerazzurri should part ways with Inzaghi if they fail to win any silverware this season.
At the moment at least, coach Simone Inzaghi would seem to be in a very strong position at Inter Milan.
The 48-year-old has won at least one trophy in each of his three seasons at the club to date.
This season, Inter have not won any silverware yet. They failed to win the Supercoppa Italiana for the first time since Inzaghi took charge.
Inter are, however, top of the Serie A table at the moment.
Moreover, Inter are also in the Coppa Italia semifinals, and the Champions League quarterfinals.
Journalist Tips Roberto De Zerbi As Shock Inzaghi Replacement At Inter Milan
Reports suggest that a new contract is in the pipeline for Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan.
However, if negotiations on that new deal were to go south, the pressure on any replacement for the former Lazio coach would certainly be enormous.

In all likelihood, Inter would go in search of a replacement who is Italian.
And the ideal candidate could very well be former Sassuolo, Sahakhtar Donetsk, and Brighton and Hove Albion coach Roberto De Zerbi. At least according to Italian journalist Carlo Pellgatti.
De Zerbi is currently in charge of Marseille in Ligue 1.
There has been some turbulence for the French giants this season. However, they look to have found their form under the Italian tactician.
Italian journalist Carlo Pellgatti argued that “If Inter don’t win any trophies this season, in my opinion it wouldn’t be easy for them to stay on with Inzaghi as coach.”
“And watch out if they don’t keep him,” he added. “I can tell you who the next Inter coach will be: De Zerbi.”
This is all a bunch of cr@p. Trophy or no trophy Inzaghi should stay. We should be looking for a good backup players, especially in attack since we can not rely on Corea, Arna and Taremi.
This team have a solid core and getting backups is not that hard at all. We don’t need top players for our bench, we don’t need a young super talent, what we need is a few reliable players who can step up and ease the job for the main starters. I think Inzaghi is doing a good job considering what he has at disposal. Changing him at this moment would be a step back.
Everyday the media and journalists (who are the enemies of the people and do pose national threat to any nation in which they work) write articles against inter so they can distract the club:
1_ Barella to Al-Hilal
2_ the Lizard face allegri will manage inter
3_ De Zerbi is the one who will manage inter
4_ Oaktree will be bankrupt etc
Every journalist who spread false rumours and cause wreck havoc should be summon to the court and pay hefty fines.
bunch of nonsense, as always
