Inter Milan will take on fierce rivals AC Milan in the first leg of their heavily anticipated Coppa Italia semi-final tie this evening.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the designated ‘away’ side will have revenge on their mind tonight.
Firmly in contention for a coveted treble, Inter will take the field in good spirits after a 2-1 win against Udinese last weekend.
However, the difficulty of the two tasks is hardly comparable, not least because of Inter’s recent struggles in this fixture.

After six consecutive wins in this match-up, Simone Inzaghi has failed to beat Milan in all three matches this season.
Indeed, Inter slumped to a 2-1 league loss in September before scoring a late equalizer in February’s 1-1 draw.
However, Milan got the better of the Nerazzurri when it mattered the most.
Despite taking a two-goal lead in January’s Supercoppa Italiana final, Inter returned from Riyadh empty-handed.
Meanwhile, Sergio Conceicao ended Milan’s three-year title drought as his team pulled off a stunning 3-2 win.
Therefore, Inzaghi’s side will be out to settle the account tonight.
