Paolo Di Canio has urged Inter Milan to pursue a deal for Newcastle United star midfielder Sandro Tonali in the summer.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, the 56-year-old identified the ex-AC Milan stalwart as a perfect signing for Inter.
Despite his past ties with the Rossoneri, Sandro Tonali has emerged as a potential transfer target for the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, his household status in Italian football has made him an exciting profile for Simone Inzaghi and Beppe Marotta.

“Plus, he’s an Inter fan. I’m talking about Sandro Tonali, someone who can do it all in midfield.
“For Inter, he would be an investment for the years to come.
“24 years old, already an international, and eager to come back with a strong desire.”

Carlo Anceloti was a die hard Inter fan in his childhood and his youth, but his proffesional career took him the other ways. Meazza was a AC fan but he made history with Inter. So I don’t care if Tonali is a Milan fan, we can sign him and write history with him.
That is the only realistic option if we are going to sign him.
