Following an unsuccessful approach for Nicolo Barella, Al-Hilal are ready to make a huge offer for Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Saudi club could offer Inzaghi €20 million net per season in wages.
Al-Hilal recently signalled an interest in signing Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella.
The Saudi Pro League club reportedly put a contract on the table worth €35 million net per season for the former Cagliari midfielder.
Al-Hilal are keen to add more big names from European football to their ranks. And Barella would certainly have been among their most high profile signings.
However, Barella summarily rejected the gulf state club’s offer.
Not Just Barella – Al-Hilal Ready To Offer €20M/Season Contract To Inter Coach Inzaghi

Al-Hilal are not necessarily finished, however.
The Gazzetta report that the Saudi club’s President Fahad bin Nafe is in Milan, where he is sounding out possible new transfer targets.
And the newspaper anticipate that it is not just players that Al-Hilal are after.
The Saudi club are also likely set for a change on the bench.
Current Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus is the favourite for the vacant position as head coach of the Brazil national team.
And Inter coach Simone Inzaghi would certainly be a huge name to replace Jesus.
The 49-year-old already has suitors in Europe. And his stock has only continued to rise with Inter’s Champions League run this season.
Al-Hilal could offer Inzaghi a chance to reunite with former Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, among other things.
And the Saudi Pro League club could certainly increase the 49-year-old’s earnings. They are ready to offer him wages of €20 million net per season.
But in the meantime, Inter President Beppe Marotta has expressed confidence that a new contract for Inzaghi is only a “formality.”
Wth is wrong with these arab teams, Your league sucks you don’t need the best managers, your league is a farmers league outside 3 teams. They act like spoiled children who want every nice thing they see in the store. If Pioli who got fired can get 18m a season Inzaghi would be worth 50m to leave a top 4 league for such a poor league.
