Kristjan Asllani and Mehdi Taremi will start for Inter Milan in this evening’s Coppa Italia semifinal second leg against AC Milan.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also confirm that Josep Martinez and Federico Dimarco will start the match.
Inter Milan take on AC Milan in the Coppa Italia this evening.
Everything is to play for in the semifinal second leg after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.
But at the same time, there are also other considerations for Inter.
The Nerazzurri are fighting on three fronts. There is nothing to split them with Napoli in the Serie A title race, whilst they also face a Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.
Asllani & Taremi To Start For Inter Milan Vs AC Milan

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has had to consider his starting eleven carefully.
The Nerazzurri coach must balance the importance of this evening’s match with some hugely important upcoming commitments.
And for that reason, reports Sky, Inzaghi will make a few notable changes to the starting eleven this evening.
There will be four in total.
Josep Martinez will retain his place as Inter’s Coppa Italia keeper ahead of Yann Sommer. And Federico Dimarco will come in for Carlos Augusto.
But then in midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu will drop out of the lineup. This will be the first match since the international break that the 31-year-old does not stat.
Therefore, Kristjan Asllani will get his opportunity in the Inter starting eleven.
The same is true of striker Mehdi Taremi. The Iranian international will replace Joaquin Correa in attack, partnering Inter captain Lautaro Martinez.
The guy has weak mentality only fit for a mediocre team. Such a shame Inter have no replacement for him and must start with him because of fitness issues for the main starters.
[Edit] Asllani not Taremi at least Taremi actually tries Asllani is a already a failure just like Correa the only difference is Asllani might stay
Don’t tell me if you believe our starters are good for the 2 games per week for over a month. They already showed fatigue in the second leg with Bayern. They showed more in Bologna. And now you guys still want them to play for the least important cup semi?????? Use common sense. The current bench depth won’t allow team to pursue trible realistic.
Your joking right?
Don’t tell me.
Oh ffs
