Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani will leave Inter Milan this summer, and Yann Bisseck could follow them towards the exit door.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are set for some major squad surgery during the summer transfer window.
The most obvious priority will be to lower the average age of the squad. Several veterans are likely to depart, with younger replacements arriving.
However, Inter are also planning to offload some young players they don’t see as having a major role in the project.
Frattesi & Asllani To Leave Inter This Summer
The most notable departures of younger players are likely to come in midfield.
Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani have been key pieces of midfield depth for Inter this season.
However, neither of the two have really convinced that they can properly back up the main starters in midfield.
Therefore, reports the Corriere, Inter will look for new midfielders who are more up to the task. And they will look for new clubs for Frattesi and Asllani.
Could Bisseck Follow Frattesi & Asllani Out The Exit Door?
But another notable younger player who Inter Milan could also offload is defender Yann Bisseck.
The 24-year-old German international is hardly a player the Nerazzurri are desperate to get rid of.
Bisseck has impressed across his two seasons at the club. And at the age of 24, there is a feeling that his best years are still ahead of him.
Nevertheless, the Corriere report, Inter will be willing to listen to offers for Bisseck.
The German is not among the players the Nerazzurri would consider “untouchable.” Therefore, if a massive offer is to come in, Inter would consider cashing in for a tidy profit.
