Alejandro Balde is “practically ruled out” for the first leg of the Champions League semifinals between Barcelona and Inter Milan.
This according to Spanish outlet Diario AS. They report that there is minimal chance of the Spaniard rushing back to feature against the Nerazzurri.
Inter Milan take on Barcelona in the Champions League this week. They travel to Catalonia for the first leg of a semifinal tie on Wednesday.
And both teams are dealing with some injuries.
Inter will reportedly be missing Benjamin Pavard due to an ankle injury the Frenchman picked up against Roma yesterday.
Meanwhile, Marcus Thuram will reportedly be back. Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski have also returned.
For Barcelona, the biggest name absent will be that of striker Robert Lewandowski.

Another player who has been out recently for Barcelona is left-back Alejandro Balde.
The Spanish international sustained a hamstring injury during a La Liga match against Leganes earlier this month.
With Balde absent, Gerard Martin has been deputizing at left-back.
Balde has been pushing to return as soon as possible. Particularly with a match as important as Wednesday’s just on the horizon.
However, reports AS, the first leg against Inter will just come too soon for Balde to start.
According to the Spanish outlet there would be some chance of Balde being part of the Barcelona squad, or even coming off the bench.
However, AS anticipate, Balde certainly will not start against Inter.
