Inter Milan will look to offload midfielder Kristjan Asllani and striker Mehdi Taremi during the upcoming summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
The summer transfer window is just a few weeks away from opening for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri will certainly be thinking about new signings. They know full well that they must bolster their squad for next season.
However, at the same time, Inter will also be keen to get rid of some of the players currently in the squad to make way.
First of all, there will be the matter of players on expiring contracts.
Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa, for example, should exit the club quietly when their deals expire at the end of June.
However, there are a couple other names that La Repubblica anticipate Inter will also look to find new clubs for.
Report – Inter Milan To Offload Asllani & Taremi This Summer
Midfielder Kristjan Asllani joined Inter Milan from Empoli in the summer of 2022.
The Albanian has backed up the likes of Marcelo Brozovic and Hakan Calhanoglu at the club.
Asllani has had some memorable moments here and there in an Inter shirt.
It was the 23-year-old who scored the decisive penalty in Inter’s 1-0 Serie A win over Hellas Verona yesterday evening.
However, on the whole, Asllani has never consistently established himself in the Inter lineup.
Meanwhile, striker Mehdi Taremi has not lived up to expectations since joining Inter on a free transfer from Porto last summer.
The 32-year-old Iranian international has scored just three goals for the Nerazzurri.
Therefore, reports La Repubblica, Inter will not be keen to keep either Asllani or Taremi past the end of the current campaign.
Taremi is a great player & they don’t need to switch him!!! that’d be a huge loss to inter!! we all knew & heard many times that he was injured & still kept pushing & playing with pain killers & injections and he barely got a chance to play!! if even you have whomever you think is the best player in the world & gets injured then can’t expect him to play & score!! what happened to Neymar?? the difference is he got couple of hundred of thousands of dollars & didn’t do nothing!!
you all gotta understand that 1. it was his 1st year at the club, 2nd, he was injured, 3rd is not just scoring goal but he definitely was always helping the team & effectively play on majority of the times on the pitch with his injuries & he did some assists too!!
if you look at everything then you can clearly see that you have had a player that you didn’t pay anything to get him & he is not just any player, he was number one goal scorer in whole Portugal league for 2 consecutive years in a row & scored more that both Thuram & Lautaro & was a Puskas nominee for bicycle goal vs Chelsea!!
instead of this hateful notes & comments let’s support him & make sure he’s healthy & give him the time to play, not just the last 5_15 mins when noone is attacking & everyone is trying to keep the results & I bet you in no time you’d see what kinda assets he is & he’d score more than what you’d imagined!!!
