Mehdi Taremi had been on the verge of rendering his first season at Inter Milan an unmitigated disaster until not long ago.
However, he has miraculously turned his fortunes around. That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908.
It’s hardly been a satisfying campaign for Mehdi Taremi.
Despite joining the club as one of Europe’s elite strikers, he has never hit the ground at Stadio San Siro.
Therefore, Inter had even started to consider his summer sale.
However, the 32-year-old is on course to become a valuable asset for Simone Inzaghi.
Inter Milan Star Mehdi Taremi Goes from Flop to Top in Ten Days

Numbers are just not there for Taremi.
After smashing records at Porto, the Iran international has only netted three goals in 41 appearances for Inter this term.
That’s a far cry from his sterling exploits at Estadio do Dragao.
When it looked like Inter would give up on Taremi, the experienced center-forward has rediscovered his form.
Indeed, his second-half entry against Barcelona made a telling impression on Inzaghi and Inter supporters.
Despite failing to score, he was outstanding in hold-up play, providing a much-needed breather to his under-pressure backline.
Then, he drew a crucial penalty against Torino last weekend, helping his side claim a 2-0 win on the road.
As it looks like, Taremi’s recent showings would be enough for a place in the starting XI against Lazio this weekend.
To whom who are ignorant freaks!
Taremi is one of the best attackers in the world!! he was the key element of Porto’s success year after year!! he was a top scorer in whole Portugal league for 2 consecutive years & a Puskas nominee for the bicycle goal against Chelsea!! so he’s not a mediocre!!
you ignorant either don’t understand or know nothing about football or just a b.s. comment lovers or just a pure haters!!
Taremi has been injured the whole season & even with those pain he carried & taking shots & pain killers he has done hell of a job!! every game he played he had impacted & helped the team!!
most games he came in towards the end in the last 5_15, 20 mins when either everyone was defending to keep the results or playing back!! one other thing was if you look closely he really didn’t get enough support from the wingers & other teammates when he was all over & helped everyone else!! the problem with this game is even if you play a minute they will count it as a game you played fully & people just see wow he played so many games but not that many goals! I bet if he had the same time & Support like lautaro & Thuram, he’d have been beating both their records!!
unfortunately he got injured but still the club didn’t pay 30 million euros like correa or hundreds of millions like Neymar! what neymar did ??? absolutely nothing & just because he was injured but noone criticized him like some idiots do Taremi!!
since he’s getting better look at what he did against Barcelona!! since he came in Yamal was outta his game & couldn’t do nothing & his asist was the reason we’re going to final!! regardless of winning or loosing the final still it helped the club to get millions so be appreciative!! plus the penalty vs Torino & again the asist for como & getting their goalie out!!
He definitely is a superstar & the only thing was that he had a bad luck!!
noone wants to get injured but if they get injured that give us the right to kill them or criticize them like that with those nasty comments???? we had healthy players that miss in front of goals, they even scored to their own goals or just playing clumsy or lazy or whatever…!!
that’s part of the GAME!!!
TAREMI IS ONE OF THE BEST, WILL STAY & WILL DEFINITELY SHINE NEXT SEASONS!!!
He has never been a mediocre & A Champ is always a Champ!! even if they come short here & there!!
Learn to RESPECT, APPRECIATE & ADMIRE!! AND DON’T YOU EVER UNDERESTIMATE A LION & A CHAMP !!!
THE STAR ALWAYS SHINES, CLOUDS ARE NOT PERMANENT!!!
VIVA TAREMI & THANKS FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE, EVEN WITH THAT LITTLE TIME, SUPPORT & ETC !!
Be grateful for what you’ve got, always!!
Best
Wtf are you talking about??? The guy was an absolutely disaster.. He has won penalties, he created assists, goals????? When??? I don’t remember absolutely nothing from this iranian dude
He is about to peak??? Really?? Are you serious dude??? Are just 3 games left for the season.. Let’s also not forget that he went to Iranian national team half injured, played a full game there and got a more serious injury… He will stay for the next, but only becaue Correa and Arnautovic are going
Taremi was a cult in Porto and iran. he wasn’t mentally ready to start on the bench. he then got injured. Now he is well. keep him in the starting line. he is a deterent for inter. so far he has produced a lot. against Barcelona he was the key for producing the wining goal. yes he produced. keep him playing. he is about to peak. he will produce against psg.
If you look at his general work he has done well. He has one Inter the most penalties this year. He has won games with his assists. His pressing and tackling have lead to turnovers that directly led to a goal that has won games.
His goals haven’t been there….yet….but he has had some marvelous saves made against his shots this season. His team work has been top notch. I’d feel quite happy if he stays with Inter next season cause goals will come.
Compare that to Correa….
Correa boy, sometimes i wonder why.
probably when he played well, he wandering around to check feedbacks, reading comments here that praise him, then next match boom, it was like he miraculously was injured or just playing in his own mind
