Inter Milan players and staff have confirmed a media blackout after their 2-2 Serie A draw against Lazio at the San Siro.
Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri chose to remain in their dressing room after the frustrating match.
Inter Milan drew 2-2 with Lazio in Serie A this evening.
For the neutral, it was certainly a great spectacle. The Nerazzurri led twice on the night, but the Biancocelesti equalized on both occasions.
For Inter, however, it was a bitterly disappointing result.
The Nerazzurri’s title rivals Napoli had slumped to a 0-0 draw in their own match with Parma.
Therefore, that meant that Inter had the opportunity to go top of the table with just one match to go.
However, the Nerazzurri were unable to take advantage of this golden chance.
Radio Silence From Inter Milan After 2-2 Serie A Draw Vs Lazio

Ordinarily, the Inter players and staff have media duties after a Serie A match. They must conduct interviews with various broadcasters, and give a press conference.
However, Sky Sport Italia report, the Nerazzurri turned this down.
The mood in the Inter camp remains bitter after this evening’s match. That is perhaps inevitable after a result such as this, particularly considering the result in Napoli’s match.
Moreover, the Lazio equalizer came after a late penalty, a Yann Bisseck handball.
Sky report that, apart from Inter’s bitterness at the result, there is also frustration with the officiating of Daniele Chiffi.
Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi in fact received a red card right before the Lazio penalty. As did his Biancocelesti opposite number Marco Barconi.
Therefore, Sky reports, the entire Inter squad and coaching staff and squad remained in the dressing room after the match.
Napoli gave Inter 2 great chances to win the Scudetto by drawing twice and losing 4 points from the last 2 games, but Inter collected only 4 points out of 6. What a shame! What an opportunity lost! Although I am an Inter fan, I will cheer for Napoli to win the scudetto next Sunday. This season, Inter does not deserve to be a champion. Why? Inzaghi has made so many errors and it was repeated. The team does not have a champions’ mentality and is dependent on a few key players: Bastoni, Barella, Chala, Lautaro, and Thuram. Inter’s bench is full of known and experienced players, but they almost do not know how to play football. Inter’s games are easily predictable, so that’s why they had lost so many points in Serie A. I wish Inter wins UCL, but it depends on their luck as well. The advantage of PSG is that they have finished the league as champions, and they do not have any games left until the UCL final. I wish Inter hires a different manager (Mourinho or Simeone) than Inzaghi next season.
Bruno Fez and a lot of delusional fans here would disagree with you. Inter had lost the scudetto a few months ago. I have said it many times, it will be a trophyless season and everyone crucified me. Just because I am an inter fan I don’t have to be delusional and agree with what they do. They lost any chances of winning any cup when they vehemently refused to bring good players in January and now they are pacifying the fans by claiming they will be on a shopping spree this summer LOL.. Luis Enrique will win it and very easily! I just wish conte didn’t win the scudetto this season esp since napoli is such a mediocre club.
Actually, PSG have the Coupe De France final the week before against Reims. That will,. however, be a warmup for them.
IAM no coach but when Inter fall back to defend they always concede goals but when they attack and create chances they only score and don’t concede goals
you are not an inter fan @ragazzi
Ref killed the game yesterday, what a clean penalty they had.
our system is no longer working, Milan gave the blueprint how to beat us, other teams know how to quickly fill up the space when we had the ball, everytime the ball goes to Dimarco or Dumfries we can’t move forward and has to restart everytime, last week we did good in Torino with 3421, Zalewski or Correa continue the run in channel so the ball flows forward and Zalewski scored by cutting inside, Correa too had few good chances, it should be easy match for us, but Inzaghi is too conservative or one dimensional with his formation and choice of players the whole season, he knows and we all know the backup strikers won’t give him anything in this kind of game
when you allow somebody as an assistant var ref who has ties with napoli(he is from naples) in the var room, what result would you expect? inter – too gentle. it cannot happen in spain.
Maybe blame inter? It was a mistake on Bisseck’s end, It was unintentional. He cross-armed his arms at his back but alas he extended his elbow too soon, maybe it was hurting him. inter lost the scudetto a few months ago not tonight. We all know Conte will have already celebrated next Sunday. Hopefully his career will crumble.
I’ll keep reapeating myself Conte’s team can’t handle the pressure that’s why they keep dropping points against weaker sides. Any other decent side Inter wouldn’t have a chance in the world like for a few months ago. Inter only have two strikers with Thuram and Lautaro others are only midtable teams backups(All of Taremi, Arna and Correa are not starting for the teams in the top 10). Bisseck still a liability but that penalty was harsh considering he did whats actually been accepted by refs in situations like that. Conte going to Juve is a good thing because he really can’t handle more than 1 competition at a time and Inter will surely buy some decent attackers which is the biggest weakness
I kind of like what happen but do painful, at least it very obvious that we can not relly on teremi, correa amautovic.aslani . expecially that correa so useless.
We need 2 new strikers. Taremi is not Inter material and 2 or 3 good games can’t make up for it.
In my opinion Taremi has struggled to make a mark but he atleast hustles and gets back on defense, on the other hand Correa just looks lost and is always out of position. we should have brought on Arno in before Correa
